Dryer Vent Cleaning Method

Our Dryer Vent Cleaning Methods & Process

Get Your Dryer Vent & Air Ducts Cleaned By Our Team Of Professionals, Las Vegas, Summerlin, & Henderson

Our comprehensive lint and debris-removing system begins with a truck mounted 4 cylinder GMC Vortec  and 5.9 blower with incredible vacuuming cfm power for the most thorough dryer vent cleaning  you can get in the industry today. We combine the Vortec machine with the Cobra II – a powerful rotating brush that enables us to remove almost any type of blockage, including bird’s nests and years of collective lint.   No matter how high or how  long the dryer ventilation pipe may be we will do everything it takes to insure that your dryer will be able to breath again, saving you bundles of energy dollars wasted annually.

Also, our technicians will do a complete 8 Point (FSI) Fire Safety Inspection, To Determine:

  1. Dryer air flow velocity and temperature at the exhaust of the dryer.  This allows us to find lint blockage within the dryer’s lint trap, blower fan and or exhaust.
  2. Safe and  proper connectivity of transition hose according to the recommendations of the dryer warning label on the back of the machine.
  3. Check the area where your dryer is  positioned to see if it is getting proper in flow and out flow ventilation.
  4. Check for flammable chemicals or  substances that are too close to the dryer, on it or above it and warn the customer to place at a safe distance
  5. Metal exhaust pipe airflow velocity and temperature  to measure the  level of  lint blockage within 4′ metal pipe and determine how hard your dryer is working to release air to the exhaust flap outside of your home-(Roof or Side Exit).
  6. Back plate and or kick bar removal of your dryer to find out how congested the inside of the dryer really is and to reassure that lint and debris is properly cleaned from all wires, motor, and interior to prevent the event of a fire from ever taking place.  This clean is highly recommended if the back of the machine is covered in lint upon arrival of service, customer does not know when the last clean of their dryer was, or a professional maintenance cleaning was never done.
  7. Exhaust flap inspection on the roof or side of home/business  to find out whether the exhaust flap sticks or opens properly when dryer is at max capacity.
  8. Finally, we will  give you a written recommendation for replacement  of your dryer or save you the cost of buying a new machine according to our findings within the inspection procedure results.

Caution Alert!!

Don’t just go out and pay for a new dryer or call an appliance center to fix the problem when your dryer – Does not get hot enough – Get’s too Hot- or clothes are still damp after the end of a drying cycle.  Chances are,  you will purchase a brand new dryer with the appliance center installation guy telling you that you still need to have a dryer vent clean  from a professional company such as ours.  Call Dryer Fires Las Vegas First and we can save you the money, time and hassle.

The most common problems with your dryer not working properly derives from:

 1. Lint blockage or other remote obstructions in the 4′ inch metal exhaust pipe.  Lint obstruction causes air to be forced back into the dryer not allowing it to properly ventilate, which in turn causes the dryer’s  heating elements to not function properly and the safety switch is turned on and off. If this process continues, eventually the safety switch will stop working all together. This chain reaction of events is what can cause a dryer fire either within the dryer itself or in the lint stuffed transition hose behind the dryer. It literally takes just minutes for your dryer to have a whole room encased in smoke and fire and not enough time to react.

2. Transition hose get’s Crushed, blocked with lint, or punctured.  (The Transition hose connects the dryer to the metal ventilation pipe in the wall)

3. Exhaust Flap sticks or does not open at all forcing air back down exhaust pipe into the dryer.

4.  No heat inside of dryer after a complete cycle or opposite where as clothes get scorching hot in just a matter of  minutes of a dry cycle, is a warning sign to immediately call for an inspection and clean.

 5.  Not servicing machine regularly and having an annual check up of your dryer by a certified professional at least once a year.  The common misunderstanding and disregard as to how fast lint really accumulates over time from doing loads of laundry daily could cause disaster for you and your home or place of business.  It can all be avoided by calling Dryer Fires Las Vegas to schedule your appointment today!
